The American Signal Corporation is a siren company that was formed in 1994 by Hörmann after Alerting Communicators of America went bankrupt. The company originally sold rebranded ACA sirens, and was a complete failure until it was bought by Dale Moeller in 1998, who introduced the Tempest series of sirens. Since then, ASC has been a very successful company, producing both the mechanical Tempest sirens and the I-Force/E-Class electronic sirens.
